The greenhouse effect caused by excessive carbon dioxide emission into the atmosphere has caused serious and various issues. The electrochemical conversion of CO2 using sustainable energy sources is regarded as one of the most promising approaches to reduce the continuous accumulation of atmospheric CO2 and generate a supply of value-added chemical fuels to regain the carbon balance. My research is to design a group of advanced materials with high activity, good selectivity, and long-term stability for the conversion of CO2 to value-added chemicals, especially liquid fuels.
