Project summary
The quest for net-zero emissions highlights the crucial role of power-to-X and powerfuels in addressing hard to abate sectors. These renewable energy alternatives provide a practical solution to replace fossil fuels in areas where direct electrification is challenging, thus accelerating the global shift towards sustainable energy.
This research is focused on the value chain economics of Power-to-X pathways, including sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), synthetic natural gas (SNG), and e-Methanol (PtM). Employing dynamic modelling, process simulation and sensitivity analysis to assess their viability different geographic and industrial contexts.
